Two Paths, One MHA

Students admitted to the MHA degree program have an important decision to make.  Dartmouth offers two paths to attain their degree.  In the standard track, students will take one course at a time over 8 consecutive terms to complete their degree in 24 months.  We expect these students to have approximately 16 hours of academic work per week.    Students in the accelerated track take two courses at time, with two live classes per week, and complete their degree in 12 months.   This rigorous course load will require students to complete approximately 32 hours of academic work per week.

For students who select the accelerated track and find that the pace of the academic work is too much to balance with other commitments, program leadership will work with them to provide a transition to the standard track so they can continue pursuing their MHA goals at a more suitable pace.
